Teapot Challenge #38!

You're invited to a Tea Party!

This is Cindy's story!

1. This little teapot is the cutest thing! This elegant little teapot came to me all the way from Kansas. It was a gift from my buddy LeAnn! It's about 3 inches tall and it is just covered with jewels, an elegant little thing.

2. This is gonna be a elegant affair this week! No coming in the back door as the red carpet will be out in front, there will be lots of papparazzi there, and the jewels will be sparkling, maybe even blinding!

3. Instead of hiring that goofball security guard that ate all of our treats sometime back, I opted to go with body guards. Some of the best in the industry. There also might be some stars there so put on your white gloves, diamonds, rubies, and sapphires and be on your best behavior. Well, at least for the first 10 minutes!

SO, if you're up for the challenge, look at the teapot, Be InSpIrEd and GO CREATE! Upload your creation into the gallery using keyword TPT38.....and while you are there, search on the code to find Cindy's card!!

Well...here it is Teapot Tuesday time again...and we present you with......a pillow!!

The challenge is to make a card based on the *teapot* that Cindy gives us a photo of.....but she's up to her tricks again...and she gives us a pillow this week! So, be inspired by the pillow and make a card....upload your card into our gallery with the keyword TPT37 so we will be sure to find your card!

This is my story!

1. Okay, so this is two weeks in a row that I have not used an actual teapot for my inspiration. But I could not resist this week! I got this adorable little minature pillow in the mail from an on-line friend and the little teapot house inspired me big time! Hee!

2. The whole time I was making this card I was thinking about two things! Even though this is not a Brick House, I kept thinking about that song by Lionel Ritchie, She's a Brick House!! Snort! The second thing I was thinking about was House. What is the deal with that guy? He is the biggest jerk ever but there is just something about him, something that you just can't help but like!! Hmmm....interesting!

This is the story in Cindy's words:

You're invited to a teaparty! This is my story!
1. This is a test. This is a test of the Teapot Tuesday Broadcasting System. This is only a test. Had this been a real teapot, it would have a spout and a handle! This is only a test.

2. Actually, I am just seeing if you guys are paying attention. This is Teapot Tuesday ya know. I'm hoping you're paying attention and are quick to determine that this is actually the cookie jar!!!

What got me doing down this road is that many people have asked me how many teapots I have and what I will do when I run out? Well, let's see, I am on #36 (which happens to NOT be a teapot!) and I probably have another 12 or 13 teapots I can do. When I run out, I plan to go to the internet for inspiration and also to quite a few pictures that I have received from fellow SCSer's/bloggers of a variety of fun teapots.

Where do I keep all my teapots? Everywhere! The majority of them are in my kitchen sitting on top of kitchen cabinets right under the ceiling in that space, you know what I am talking about! I have several placed here and there around the house too depending on the look of the teapot!

3. Okay, so after last week's fiasco and the frosting fight that broke out in the middle of the tea party, I have decided to ban whipped cream from the tea party. So, if you wanna bring whipped cream with your strawberries, you can, you just have to come in the back door. Whisper....I'll meet you back there, I love whipped cream! Giggle!

1. It's a good day for ducks! Quack, Quack!! Isn't this teapot a kick? I got this teapot in the mail from a friend and fellow Blogger, LeAnn. LeAnn sent me two teapots. This fun little duckpot and a beautiful floral one which I am excited to use in my challenge too!

2. I thought it would be a good day for ducks! The leftover bees have thinned out, the bunnies have moved on and the only thing we have to worry about this week is ducks in the cups. You know how they are, always looking for some body of water. Should we do iced tea so we don't burn their butts?

3. I love both of my new teapots and I am thrilled to have received them from LeAnn!
